It seems people have been creating their own Amiibo Card clones for a while now, but since Animal Crossing New Horizons dropped, it's become a hot topic again.

So how do you make Amiibo Cards for Animal Crossing New Horizons?

Don't worry, we've gotcha covered!

You Will Need

Who
  • An android phone (you can grab yourself an incredibly cheap one here)
  • Ntag215, a tag that you'll be transferring data to (These can be found extremely cheap here)

How To Make Amiibo Cards For Animal Crossing New Horizons:

Step 1.

Head into the setting of your android phone and change the ‘installation of unknown apps' setting to ‘allow' for Chrome, Drive, and My Files.

Step 2.

Head over to Google Chrome and visit website nfc-bank.com and look for the ‘download files' section. Stand alone photoshop software. Find the list of three files just like the ones in the picture below, and click ‘download all files'.

Step 3.

This next part is where a lot of people get stuck. Once the files have downloaded, you'll have to locate them, unfortunately, it is different for each phone, and could even be saved onto an SD card, take some time and find your files.

Step 3.5

This step won't apply to everyone so if this isn't you, move on to step 4.

Some phones will download the files into a .zip folder (a folder that compresses all of the data) meaning it will need to be extracted to get to the content inside. You'll be able to find a free ‘.zip file extractor' in the store, so go ahead and do that before step 4.

Step 4

Once everything is downloaded, you'll be met with the TagMo app, or, you'll need to open the TagMo app.

Go to settings in the TagMo app and right at the top will be a section that says ‘import keys' there should be 2 red items under that.

These items are red because they haven't been imported yet, fortunately, they're the files you downloaded in step 2. So go ahead and click the red item one at a time and locate the file for the corresponding time. For example, clicking on ‘unfix key' will open your downloads and you'll be able to select the ‘unfix-info.bin' file you downloaded earlier.

Once you've done this for both items, they should turn green!

Step 5

Head back to the nfc website, find the Amiibo section and then locate the Animal Crossing Complete Collection, or you can just click here as I've done it for you. Abrosoft fantamorph pro. You could have a scroll on the site and find the exact character you're looking for, but for now, we'll download the full collection.

Now click the file ‘Animal Crossing.zip'

Step 6.

Once downloaded and installed, you'll be taken to the folder with two separate folders – ‘cards' and ‘figures'.

As you may have had to do in step 3.5, you'll need to extract the ‘cards' folder as it is a .zip file, if you're not sure how to do this, scroll up to step 3.5.

Step 7.

Who Makes Animal Crossing Fun

You should now be met with a folder with subfolders named ‘series 1' and ‘series 2' etc. These should contain hundreds of items. Each series represents a generation of the Amiibo characters.

Step 8.

Click out of the folder and go back to the TagMo app, click on ‘load tag' and navigate through the folders you downloaded in the previous step, find the character you wish to bring to your island and click the file.

Step 9.

Now that you've loaded the character you want, click ‘write tag' you'll be met with a screen that says ‘put tag under phone'.

Put the Ntag215 under the phone (your phone will react with the tag in the same way it does when you pay using Apple Pay or a similar service).

Step 10.

That's it! You've now got an islander on your tag ready for an invite to your island, the same way you would if you had the official Amiibo Card. Acorn 6 0 1 – bitmap image editor.
If you want to get creative with your tag to make it look a little more exciting (like the picture below,) I'd suggest checking out Reddit for design tips.
